Welcome.

I have set up this site to encourage as many people as I can, in Detroit, and beyond, to continue to provide hope and support to our Ukrainian brothers and sisters who are suffering and in need. To further offer hope, and aid, and with G-d’s help, gather more supporters, I recently spent a week working with the Jewish Relief Network Ukraine (“JRNU”) in Berlin (at the temporary location for the Odesa orphanage), and in Odesa where they continue to provide substantial humanitarian relief to its residents and refugees from dangerous cities that have fled there. I shared your encouragement, and some of their stories while I was there. I have many more stories from my visit that I will continue to share. Please check out the Blog page, and Gallery for more stories, photos, and videos. To learn more about the mission to provide aid and comfort click on About D4JRNU.

Thank you for visiting this site. Please know that no matter who you are, as long as you have breath in your lungs and empathy in your heart, you can make a difference.

With its deep roots and extensive reach, the JRNU has been providing food, medicine, and other aid to more than 35,000 people each month, not turning anyone away. To further offer hope, aid, and with G-d’s help, gather more supporters, I will be spending the next week working with the JRNU in Berlin (at the temporary location for the Odesa orphanage), and in Odesa. I will share their stories and your encouragement along the way.

Unfortunately, the crisis in Ukraine is not going to end any time soon. Even after the war is over, the humanitarian needs will continue for years to come. The good news is, we can help. By coordinating our efforts we can bring continued hope and support to those in need. I hope you will join me in keeping the Detroit Jewish community engaged in these necessary relief efforts.

I welcome your comments.
